Efficiency Determinants and Capacity Issues in Angolan Insurance Companies

This paper describes a variety of approaches used to assess the efficiency of a sample of major insurance companies in Angola between 2003 and 2012. Starting out with the bootstrapping technique, several data envelopment analysis (DEA) estimates were generated, allowing the use of confidence intervals and bias correction in central estimates to test for significant differences in efficiency levels and input‐decreasing/output‐increasing potentials. Previous studies have focused on the measurement and explanation of the factors affecting the performance rather than the prediction. The use of neural networks combined with DEA results as part of an attempt to produce a model for insurance companies’ performance with effective predictive ability is investigated. The findings indicate that older insurance companies with Portuguese origin tend to be more efficient. Results also suggest that opportunities for accommodating future demand appear to be scarce.     

转型国家政府审计功能探讨——来自罗马尼亚的经验

罗马尼亚在国家转型期间面临着严重腐败、贫富差距、司法改革等问题,为了加入欧盟,罗马尼亚在这些方面进行了卓有成效的改革。在加强监督和控制的国家治理中,执行公共外部审计的审计院起到了很大的推动作用。在借鉴欧盟法的基础上,罗马尼亚审计院在法律地位、组织框架、职权范围上都得以提高和完善,审计院对国家治理产生重要影响,对政府部门及其他公共部门的监督和控制效率、效果得到很大提高。我国可以借鉴其经验,从提高审计署法律地位和加强外部审计与内部审计协调两个方面强化审计署在国家治理中的功能。     

发达国家保险监管模式及其启示

本文分析了美国、加拿大、德国、英国、日本这五个国家具有典型代表性的保险监管模式,提出了加强我国保险监管的建议.     

Globalization,political institutions,financial liberalization,and performance of the insurance industry

This paper investigates the impacts of globalization, political institutions, and financial liberalization on the performance and risk-taking of insurance firms covering 1324 individual firms in 30 selected OECD countries. We find that greater globalization and a stable political institution lead insurance companies to exhibit a better performance—i.e., insurers adjust their strategies while being aware of institutional changes. By contrast, financial liberalization has an inverse impact on insurance company performance. Thus, greater globalization and a stable political environment both drive less risk-taking for insurers. These findings are particularly important to insurance markets’ competitors and national policymakers.

旅游保险企业顾客资产函数模型构建——基于互补性理论的探讨

旅游保险企业销售业绩不理想的一个主要原因,是不能很好地理解互补性营销资产管理的互补机理。旅游保险企业在组合渠道资产(互补性资产)时,如果原有服务质量(核心营销资产)比较薄弱,而新渠道资产需要对服务质量作出变革时,就不可以只组合进渠道资产而保持原有服务质量不变,否则只能达到次优甚至失败。中国旅游保险企业加强与互补体合作,就有可能获取后发营销竞争优势。     

对新《保险法》理赔程序与时限法律规制的研究

新《保险法》关于理赔程序和时限的法律规制，体现了公平理赔、尽速理赔的价值目标，对解决理赔难问题发挥了重要作用，但仍存在与保险理赔实践不够契合、法律责任设置不完善等问题。本文从分析新《保险法》理赔程序与时限的相关规定人手，将其与保险理赔实践进行对比，并研究违反程序与时限的法律后果，最后对如何进一步完善相关规定、增强法律的执行效果提出了建议。     

关于新疆设施农业又好又快发展的思考

加快发展设施农业是新时期新疆推进现代农业建设、促进农业增效、农民增收的一项重大决策,研究解决设施农业发展中存在的问题,对于更好地发挥设施农业的作用具有重大意义。本文分析了新疆发展设施农业的必要性,以及设施农业发展中存在的一些问题,进而提出了推动设施农业又好又快发展的几点措施和建议。     

驻厂监造工作中的质量管理

运用全面质量管理的方法,通过对驻厂监造人员、设备、计划、实施细则、记录、报告、档案和HSE管理等几个方面的分析,认为驻厂监造工作必须严格按照全面质量管理,才能不断提高驻厂监造工作质量和水平,并提出了一些合理化的建议。     

基于博弈视角的证券市场监管方式改进研究

监管行为和违规行为是证券市场中的一对矛盾体,两者互相博弈。本文通过建立证券市场中监管行为与违规行为的博弈模型,分别得出纯策略纳什均衡和混合策略纳什均衡。结果表明:均衡点与监管成本、违规行为处罚力度和违规收益等因素有关。最后提出了规范我国证券市场发展的若干政策建议。
